Identity and composition
R-1234yf is a single substance, not a blend, and its GWP is published in Annex II, Section 1 rather than in Annex I. That is why it consumes no HFC quota — it remains a fluorinated greenhouse gas, but its leak-check thresholds are counted in kilograms rather than in tonnes of CO2 equivalent.

Who may buy
Fluorinated refrigerant gas is not an ordinary product. Article 11(6) of Regulation (EU) 2024/573 limits who may buy it for installation, maintenance, servicing or repair — and it binds the seller too.
The two declarations available at checkout
A valid F-Gas certificate is required for charging, installation, maintenance, servicing, repair or recovery. At checkout you enter the certificate holder, the number and the issuing country.
